Monitoring Argentina on shortwave

Argentina

logs edited for clarity

All times UTC
11710.774, at 0430- UT, Radio Argentina al Exterior on June 20. Fair signal with weak modulation, but mainly marred by splatter from a sick transmitter, presumably Brasil on 11780 kHz. On the Perseus I can see the noise way above and below the frequency. Buzzy, hash sound. Too bad, as it makes most of the 25 meter band unuseable! Listed Chinese at this time. (Walt Salmaniw-Masset Cottage BC-CAN, DXplorer June 28)

6056v RAE / Radio. Nacional Off-frequency again at 0954 with start of the RAE Interval signal routine. Strong at tune-in, but weakening. Drifting down as well and only 1 kHz away from 6055 kHz Nikkei Japan by 1001.

15344.13 RAE /Radio Nacional 1208. Tango music, 1211 talk with woman announcer in Portuguese. Later at 13:00, caught time ticks and interval signal routine briefly and Spanish station ID. Weak signal noted. Went off the air at 15:30:32. Signal came back on at 16:46:11 on 15345.14 kHz, but Egypt was on until 17:54:39. Could then hear just bits of audio. Finally able to recognize English at 18:48. Went into the usual interval signal/identificaiton routine at 18:55. Finally up to good level by 21:45 UT.(15 June) (Dave Valko-PA-USA, via wwdxc BC-DX TopNews June 22)
